Physocarpus opulifolius ‘Lady in Red’

Description Physocarpus opulifolius ‘Lady in Red’ A compact, thicket-forming shrub which has peeling bark and arching branches which have red to red-purple foliage. Small, cup-shaped, pale pink flowers are borne in early summer which are followed by clusters of bladder-like red fruit with green flushes. Grows best in acidic soil which is moist but well-drained in full sun or partial shade. It will reach a height and spread of 2.5m in 10 years. Supplied size 30-45cm (3 Litre Container)
