Full Description3.0m DuraPost Classic Fence Post – Galvanised This 3.0m DuraPost Classic Fence Post – Galvanised is built from cold-rolled galvanised steel and incorporates a deep 48mm H-channel designed to secure fence panels and cant rails for closeboard systems. When set with a 600mm burial depth, it provides a maximum finished fence height of up to 2.4m, making it ideal for high screening, commercial boundaries, stepped sites and locations where extra security or privacy is needed. The H-style design allows straightforward attachment of timber rails, supporting everything from full-height closeboard fencing to picket or hit-and-miss designs, as well as compatibility with DuraPost composite fencing and conventional wooden panels. The post uses 1.5mm steel folded to approximately 3mm at the front, giving excellent strength while remaining significantly lighter than concrete posts. Tested to withstand winds up to 110mph in accordance with BS EN 12839:2012 and BS EN 1794, and guaranteed for up to 25 years, this galvanised DuraPost Classic offers a robust, low-maintenance and modern-looking alternative to traditional fencing supports for demanding installations.
